If you’re a parent, you know how summer break can go…

The school year ends, and before long, your kid is glued to a screen, constantly snacking, or saying “I’m bored.”

But what if summer break was a time for your child to build strength, boost confidence, and learn healthy habits that stick—while having a blast with their peers?

That’s exactly what our CFN Youth Summer Program is all about.

This 6-week strength and conditioning course is designed for kids ages 11–15 and kicks off June 24th at CrossFit Northland.

It’s not a sport-specific camp. It’s not about competition.
It’s about movement, resilience, and real-world fitness for growing bodies and minds.


What Your Athlete Will Learn:

Foundational Strength Training
We’ll teach proper mechanics for squats, presses, deadlifts, and bodyweight movements—age-appropriate and always coached with safety in mind.

Conditioning and Work Capacity
Through structured workouts and team-based challenges, your child will build stamina, improve coordination, and increase their physical confidence.

Mobility and Movement Quality
Every session includes warm-ups, skill drills, and cool-downs to help develop flexibility and reduce risk of injury.

Games That Reinforce Skills
Because kids learn best when they’re having fun, we’ve built in a mix of games that teach teamwork, hustle, and mental grit.

Basic Nutrition and Healthy Habits
Each week includes simple tips on fueling for energy and building lifelong healthy habits—without overwhelm.


Why This Program Is Different From Traditional Sports Camps

Most sports camps focus on a specific skill for a short time.

But our CrossFit-based approach builds the full foundation—strength, coordination, stamina, and mental resilience—that translates to any sport your child may play. Or just life in general.

Plus, there’s no need for prior experience. Whether your kid is a regular athlete or just starting out, our program is infinitely scalable to meet them exactly where they’re at.

And for parents who want to stay in the loop, we’ve got you covered. You’ll get weekly emails with an overview of what we’re working on in class and what’s coming up next.

Program Details:

📍 Where: CrossFit Northland
📅 When: June 24 – August 1
🗓️ Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Time: 2:00–3:00 PM
🎯 Who: Youth ages 11–16
