Q: How long have you been a member of CrossFit Northland? What brought you into our gym?  
A: 10 months, I needed to turn my life around, with a healthier lifestyle. 

Q: Tell us a little about your fitness background?  
A: Played Football in college, since then been on and off with workouts, gyms, videos, other group style workouts, but nothing ever matched what I had while playing in college or high school.  

Q: What are some of your favorite CrossFit movements?  
A: Every time I’m able to do something I wasn’t able to do before!!  And the Open workouts with the teams were a lot of fun.  

Q: What is on your CrossFit bucket list? 
A: Next move to master is the chest to bar pull up!

Q: What is on your general bucket list? 
A: Continue to go down in body fat % and increase Lean Muscle Mass. 

Q: What is something most people do not know about you? 
A: I am a big movie buff!  

Q: How would you describe CrossFit Northland to someone?  
A: If you are willing to work hard, and be challenged every day, this is the perfect place!  These coaches will challenge you and make the workout work for you, wherever you are in your fitness journey!  

Q: What does “living life on your own terms” mean to you, and in what ways are you living life on your terms?  
A: I now don’t have to worry about what I have clean in my closet, everything fits!  Bring a stronger person on the inside and out by starting my day at CFN!  

Q: What do you enjoy most about CFN?  
A: The people, coaches and teammates (other members).  They all motivate me every day.  

Q: What motivates you and keeps you coming back week after week?  
A: The results I keep seeing, and the way I feel, once you get past the soreness!!  

Q: What PRs or accomplishments are you most proud of?  
A: Completing half of “Murph”,  completing Open workouts, all time Bench record for me at 41 years old!  And just the fact I’m still going after 10 months!  

Q: If you could have one super power, what would it be? 
A: Travel back in time, spend more time with my little boys!  They are 13 and 16 now!   

Q: What advice do you have for people just getting started with CrossFit?  
A: Just keep showing up, and work as hard as you can!!  The results will come.  Everyone starts somewhere!  

Q: What is one piece of advice you’d give to someone that is considering starting CrossFit? 
A: Don’t wait, don’t think you have to get in better shape to do CrossFit, you don’t, you’re ready right now!!
